Downgrade to MSN 7.5

Lots of people are complaining about the new version of MSN (windows live messenger). These people all want the good old MSN 7.5 back.

This article will help you to downgrade from Windows Live to MSN Messenger.

Things you need to do

1. Uninstall Windows Live Messenger
2. Download MSN 7.5
3. Install MSN 7.5

1. Uninstall Windows Live Messenger

If you use Windows XP do the following:

Go-to your Start menu and then go-to the Control Panel



Once the Control panel is started click on the Add or remove programs button.

You will now see all the software that is installed on your PC.
In this list search for Windows Live Messenger and click on it.



Once clicked two buttons will show up, click on the remove button.

Windows Live Messenger will now be uninstalled. Follow the instructions on your screen.

2. Download MSN 7.5

Microsoft has removed all the download links to MSN Messenger 7.5 but they are still hosting it on their servers.

3. Install MSN 7.5

Once you downloaded MSN Messenger 7.5, its easy to install it.

Just open the file you downloaded (from point 2.) and follow the instructions on your screen.
