it only work 4 msn 7.0

hey there, i uninstalled my old msn and installed 8.0 but it won't work when i try to run it. It says msn messenger hasn't been configured properly re-installing it might fix the problem i tried that about 10 times and it still won't work. Does anyone know what i could do? thanks.
