Windows Live Mail Desktop

This has nothing to do with MSN Messenger of Windows Live Messsenger. But because its very close to WLM we just post it.

With this program you can read your Windows Live Mails on your desktop, with the looks and feels of Windows Live Messenger.

I've just tried all the suggestions here including uninstalling and reinstalling my account and I'm still getting the same message. This only started a couple of days ago so I'm completely confused. It says to upgrade, but when I tried that I got the message that I already have the newest version. Can someone tell me what the heck is goin on? Thanks

I had to remove the account, reboot, add the account back... then change the url to www.hotmail.com/ then add the no spam numbers... then go back to WLM and change the server back to 'http://mail.services.live.com/DeltaSync_v1.0.0/sync.aspx' and now it works again... Sure hope this does not continue.. you can also disable sync and use MSN Hotmail link.

try this - I did it and it works. Go to this web page http://get.live.com/betas/maildesktop_betas?wt_svl=10229EWNa1&mg_id=10229EWNb1

Click Download and click Run, next, next etc.. and after it finish click close and it will open the new Windows Live Mail Beta. then send yourself an email to your windows mail beta email account or created a new one(if you want). Finally, click Send/Receive.

to sing up for windows live mail go on to http://ideas.live.co.uk. There will be some boxes, look for the one saying Windows Liveâ„¢ Mail beta and click the sign up button at the bottom of the box. Enter your e-mail address in the next page click submit and then wait for Microsoft to get back to you.

hmmm... Your right...

Maybe cause the WLMDB is not official, actually it doesn't exist for download from Microsft, they have probably shutted it, so that it won't help with leaks...
