Ohmygod does anyone know how to fix error code 8e5e05f6, because I can't find anything about it, and I don't know how to fix it.
And I'm getting stressed out because it's only doing it on my computer I can log in on very other computer in the house but my own.
Anyone help please?

had 80040154 error on msn tried the .msi and Contacts-ship-neutral.cab but still doesnt work.. =( whenever i install .cab it says "a newer version of contacts platform is already installed." i cant sign in on msn. (sigh...)

i had the same problem, so i looked around a little, and it turns out a third party software was resposible. Some alienware theme modifier(AlienGUISE) so if u installed any programms lately like that u should get rid of them cause they might be the once causing it.

did you find a solution for that problem??, I mean, the one of the alienware, I liked it too much (the theme) and I do not want to change it everytime I open my msn or to end the aliwnare theme...

this solution worked for me, I'm currently thinking that 80040154 error hv different solution that worked for different cases of the same error, but just wondering, anyone have a success with the solution offered by microsoft, the msxml3.dll one?

ishu you are a legend! I don't know how the hell you figured out the 80040154 problem was due to "Windows Live Communications Platform" but you were bang on. Nice job.

Okay...seriously! I've tried everything under the sun..!!!!!
Regcure.
re-installing
running the tests under the connection in WLM
msxml3.dll (or something like that)
and blah blah...like seriously everything
At this point im just confused as to what I should do to fix error 800401f3!
SOMEONE PLEASE HELP ME!!!

I tried all the other fixes I read about on the net (reset DNS cache, change DNS server to fake server, then back to ISP assigned) but this fixed Error 80072745, but WHY did I all of a sudden get that error after upgrading to the new Build 8.5.1302.1018 and what did this patch do to repair it?

I'd like to know!

Well confused. WLM will work but only on certain occasions.. During sign in it always comes up with the SEND ERROR REPORT, dont send or send later? any fixes?

Hi,
When i rename the msnmsgr.exe file to anythings, it works. If connection is disconnects, then it cannot works. I must rename it again...

I tried this fixer and didn't work for me, I'm still receiving error code 80072745 :-(
I'm pretty pissed off!!
I have tried every "solution" that's out there:
1.- host file modification
2.- flash dns
3. this solution
4. others

and nothing seems to work, this happens to me only at work, in my place I don't have this problem.

So, I'm guessing is a gateway issue, but as I'm at work I can't "reboot" it :-(
I guess I will stuck with this issue until the IT Department reboots the machine...

Your messenger error fixer fixed error: 80072745 for me. I tried so many forums and nothing worked until I tried your software.
If you can solve it, why can't microsoft? They made it, yet are no help at all with error 80072745, grrrr!!!

It came up in a pop up saying

Messenger Error Fixer.

Please tell Microsoft about this problem.

then it says about the error report thing.

Was getting a 8100038 contact list error. Not one of the specif fixes listed but ran all the fixes plus the generic fixer and things are all well. Thanks Jay!!!
