Was wondering if anyone can help me. I have like a face on my windows live messenger, b4 i sign in and once i am logged in. I cannot remember how i got it. Is it a skin? does anyone no wot im even on about, lol?
does anyone know how i can get it?

ive had msn for ages now
but since the new one came out i downloaded that and then it showed skins n stuff so then i clicked download
Then later it didnt show up :S

I downloaded the file, and I replaced it but still the same, I have windows XP? can anybody help?

You just download the file, and go to your programfiles, windows live messenger and just replace the dll file, if you don't like the skin, reinstall live messenger, or copy the old dll file and keep it in another folder to make sure that you can use the original skin later if you don't like this skin.

I installed it and dunno how can to use it,,,can anybody help?

the great thing about macs is you don't have to jump thru hoops like copy a .dll file and then pasting in the buthole file which will then transfer over to the redicret file of the underboot interface file ..after that delete the file and turn it into bile and eat it and then you can see the skin!! PEOPLE!!! MACS RULE!! if you want to download a program you just DOWNLOAD IT and BAM!!! it's done.. it's all plug and play baby...someone shoot bill gates STEVE JOBS FOR PRESIDENT!!!

it tells you how to install in the 'How To Install' Section...

to install this, put the .dll file in your Messenger directory
( usually C:Program FilesMSN Messenger )

For all those who are having trouble when you download this and u can see contacts or your DP is messed up here is the solution:

Simply you need to download windows live messenger 8.0 from such places as this one - http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details.aspx?familyid=e010f88f-8574-4562-af6d-48dd23026b9d&displaylang=en

The reason with your problem is that your currently running 8.1, which is not compadible it seems with this vista skin.

it only works with 8.0 i tried it with 8.1 and no u cant see ur contacts and ur dp is messed up,also its abit buggy not sure if thats the 8.0 or the skin though sometimes msn just closes for no reason but otherwise i love it

I'm using vista's rc1 .... i downloaded the skin and copy the file to my msn, but after i started my msn i cannot see any of my contacts and mt display picture doesn't show properly........What can i do to fix this..??

I got vista transtformation pack 6, and i downloaded this skin, ofkorz i have WLM! And when, i paste this dll file into my MSN messenger directory and start program i can see a lots of bugs...

you can kind of have to state some reasons for this. We are attempting to offer constructive criticism, and when you just say that it's crap, it doesn't help anyone!

Personally, I agree that the icons are a little too large - and they have this "vista" border around them which is nice for the larger ones but kind of disruptive for the smaller ones. The color is quite exciting and stays true to the "vista" style. Maybe have a brightness/transparency adjustment so people that want a brighter interface can enjoy this template too.

I wondered if there's a way to get rid of the preview contact pictures. I'd like my list to be more compact, so that I can view more contacts on my list using a smaller window size. Having the picture previews on the pane spreads the contacts out so they are further apart. Is there an option to not show them?

Anyone know how to use this skin on Windows Live Messenger Lite (it's just an executable, doesn't even have to install.. but lacks the accessibility to add this skin, since there are no folders for the program)
