A great start for a new year. Finally after months of development Stuffplug 3 has launched.

Its not 100% functional yet, no languages included yet.

  • New feature: replace default emoticons with custom emoticons
  • Windows of the same type now only open once.

  • Status-icon feature now also changes icon in window itself
  • New feature: Ability to turn SP convo button on or off

  • loads of UI updates
  • loads of other miscellaneous bugfixes
  • New loader (msacm32.dll) (Should fix Vista x64 problems)

  • Fixed feature for WLM 8.1: KeyboardLED
  • should now be fully 8.0.0812 compatible
  • New feature: WordwheelAdd, type the email address of someone not yet in your contact list in the word wheel, and you can add em
  • New feature: customizable timestamps.
  • Removed BETA tags (it's still beta, but I'm preparing for the release)
  • New GUI hooks, it's possible that this would introduce a few new bugs, although highly unlikely.
  • Silly Alpha animation on drop down options (like chatname, timestamps, flashled)
  • AdHider now remembers status throughout entire WLM session
  • Set preferred version in installer to WLM 8.1.0178

It's telling me I need to install WLM too! I'm using a brand-new computer with vista...could it be another vista issue?

I have the same problem, i installed the newest windows live messenger but ik keeps telling me i need to install wlm..what to do???

Will there be an update for the new WLM 9.Coming out soon.And i thought the over sized emoticon thingy was going to be on the Stuffplug 3,but its all good!

oo man Its just awesome. It works. People who are saying that this doesnt have polygomy then I recommend them to go to options in stuffplug and find the option in there for polygomy. I can see it.



I need to know one thing ? Where is WorldWheel ? Can someone please tell me ?

Well... the latest version of stuffplug wont support the open / close conversation feature for some reasons.. but there is another addon that works with the wlm not very very good as the stuffplug's did it, but its better than nothing and many pple love/adore it and requested by billions.....

and i think that u think too much so why dont u relax a lil bit and let other pple who love that feature enjoy their time!!?!

jus click on stuffplug on ur windows page..than option..than conversations..than use a chat-only name and there u got it

this thing doesn't have polygamy thingy and it doesn't have the thing where it tells you if some opened or closed the conversation

h00ray! I installed WLM 8.1 and it works
I also went through the SP3 forums and apparently the overside DP/emoticon feature aint possible in WLM - stupid microsoft -.-
