Nuno Peralta, the skinner of vista messenger has today released the final version, 2.0.
This skin works on vista and XP.

Version 2.0 (10/03/2007):
- All Messenger is now skinned.
- New efect of smileys, winks and backgrounds' size increase with mousewithin.
- New design in some locals and menus.
- New signin background.
- New icons.
- New scrollbar.
- New shortcuts menu.
- Fixed text effect.
- Fixed background of taskbar of conversation window.
- Fixed contact card.

How to install:

1. Shut down Messenger.
2. Start - Run - %programfiles%/MSN Messenger - OK
3. Rename msgsres.dll para msgsres.dll.bak.
4. Put the file of ZIP into this folder (replace the sounds).
5. Open Messenger and sign in!

If you want to uninstall it i think you will have to reinstall it... that worked for me. There might be an easier way but I dont know what that would be. I tried a repair but that didnt work.

Pretty nice, works with latest MSN LIVE - i have 8.1

just one problem it the the small down arrow next to minimize goes missing, to go into like msn plus options u have to full screen MSN, but for how this looks its cool

I dont get step 3.Rename msgsres.dll para msgsres.dll.bak what is the new file name i gotta change it to:

1.msgsres.dll.bak
2.para msgsres.dll.bak
