Ok first things first, this software is not dangerous to your system. It is clearly stated that the software contains mild adware which can be disabled.

It is easy to uninstall, fun to use and does not pose a threat to your system.

That said however I would still keep an eye on your firewall to make sure nothings going through.

You guys should do at least some research before you post things like/

OMG its a virus use NORTON! HELLO! norton is the biggest pile of crud created, it lost all its goodness once symantic took over and is now bloatware and does not offer full security. Get some brains before you surf the net guys

It has got malicious code in it. It opens up a way to you're PC for hackers and the like. It also sends your MSN contacts and usage, and encrypted convo logs to the Host server mentioned earlier. DO NOT DOWNLOAD

I must reconfirm what i said:
it does have a trojan in fact MessengerDiscovery.exe was trying to contact with IP 64.187.117.28 which belongs to MsXLabs Organization ACCELERATEBIZ-MSX which is a hosting company. Just warning...then it's up to you mates :-)

I have Avast Anti virus One of the best anti virus of the world, When i download it my anti virus don't say ANYTHING after 1 year in the service in my computer , messenger discovery dont hack me or something what affect me.. im not sure if in the future it could hack my Pc or something But i scan my computer each folder and it dont found nothing :S
so if u want to download Enjoy

It does actually have a trojan.
Just install a free Firewall like COMODO
and block that MessengerDiscovery Live.exe/Loader.exe and that's all :-)

i am a specialist of cmputers and i was investigating about this thing and it does have a virus so do not download it

i saw the Trojan Backdoor Horse stuff so got rid of it. i dont recommend people download this.

When I download it, my virus protection pops up and asks me to heal the virus, and I do so, when I go back to desktop to look for it, it not there.

I'm unsure on whether to download this. People are saying it has a virus, and people are saying nothing or that it doesnt. A friend of mine downloaded it on a friend's computer and was doing it to me and i found it awesome, but im wondering whether to get it because of the mixed views on it.

Your virus scanners are defect or outdated, It DOES in fact hold a virus.

I downloaded it anyways, and it would only work for like 5 minutes, and then my msn would stop working.. it wouldn't show people going offline, or coming online, and my messages would seem like they were going through to people, but i would never get a response from everyone I was sending messages to. So I'd have to log off msn, and re-log in.. where it would start working again, but then the same thing would happen. I wouldn't download it.

When i try and download it , it says its a trojan horse, what do i do? Ive tried to download it from about 3 sites now and it always says i need to launch an application, and when i do My avg blocks it telling me its a trojan horse
